1. What is the concept of Maki-San? What does “DIY sushi & salad” mean?
Answer: At Maki-San, customers choose their own bases (rice or salads), fillings, toppings and sauces to build custom sushi rolls or salad bowls. There are also pre-designed “house” combos for those who prefer ready suggestions.
2. Do you offer signature rolls or must I always build my own?
Answer: Yes — besides full custom builds, Maki-San offers house / signature rolls and salads for people who don’t want to choose every ingredient.
3. What ingredients / variety can I choose from?
Answer: Maki-San promotes “over 70 ingredients” for customization. Customers can pick from various fillings like duck, smoked salmon, chicken, fruit, vegetables, etc.
4. Is Maki-San halal certified?
Answer: Yes — Maki-San Singapore is listed as halal certified.
5. Where are your outlets in Singapore?
Answer: Maki-San has about 20 shops across Singapore, including in Sengkang (Compass One), Hillion Mall, I12 Katong Mall, Clementi Mall, White Sands, Northpoint City, West Mall
6. What are your opening hours?
Answer: 1000 - 2130
7. Can I order delivery or take-away?
Answer: Yes — take-away is supported. For delivery, Maki-San offers delivery via third-party platforms like Grab, FoodPanda and Deliveroo! Or via makisan.com, here!
8. Do you offer catering or large orders (events)?
Question: Can I place bulk or catering orders by writing direct to us!
9. What is their brand / design / experience appeal?
Answer: Maki-San is Asia’s first DIY sushi & salad concept. Our aesthetic is modern, fun, pop-art / colorful, using quirky graphics and modern design touches.
